Discussion was divided concerning PPC meetings over the summer; may want to return to meeting on first Monday of every month; 11:00 AM Choir has meetings on Monday nights, but no other group. At least two members of PPC appreciate not having meetings over the summer and felt it was a break to come back refreshed in the fall.

Catherine Frangenberg reported that Stewardship meeting centered around Commitment Weekend and Ministry Faire. Over the past several years, Catherine feels we have been stagnant; need to move forward, not wait for to have a "leader", this is a church problem, not just our parish. Stewardship suggested having a one day retreat over the summer where the leadership bodies of the parish would get together with an objective facilitator to develop a strategic plan for the future. The commitment response was poor; only $5,400 per week.

Instead of doing a Ministry Faire next year, it was suggested to highlight our ministries over the year. We need to reach out to new people, not the same ones who always come forward. Need to include Guardian Angels and St. Joseph's as well. The closing of Good Shepherd School is one reason people are depressed. Barb Swiecki can see it at Guardian Angels, too.

People are nervous about pledging a set amount each week; times are difficult for everyone. One out of three weeks we reach our budgeted collection.

Nancy suggested having all ministry leaders do a retreat - people in leadership roles are also frustrated. Staff has had a difficult year; having a retreat for hope to get some of the "life" back in the parish. Retreat for early September - social and spiritual revival for the community.

Catherine will put together ideas for this and dates for retreat and locations.

Nancy would like to have listening sessions for three weekends over the summer to invite parishioners to stay after Mass or meet in individual homes so she can get input from them and to get acquainted with parishioners in small group settings.

Stewardship is having a meeting in July and Mike offered to attend as representative of PPC; Nancy said she would also like to attend.

Louise pointed out that Catherine and Jean Leicht have been renovating the PRC room. It has been suggested to dedicate it the Father Vogt Room. They are planning to utilize it as a sitting/quiet area. Everyone was in agreement to dedicate it the Father Vogt Room.

PPNM - The Integration Team will be discussing Mass time changes in October and have a joint PPC meeting discussing how to best approach the parishes with the Mass changes. All three parishes will go to two Masses each; still in the process of discussion. The 11:00 AM Mass will still be effect for the summer (starting June 29) and plans are to keep this time year round.
Linda Brunner has been putting copies of the minutes in the Chapel Communication Center. Tim Runyan has the ability to put the minutes on the web site and has started doing so with the April minutes. Linda will put 25 copies in the Communication Center and an announcement in the bulletin and Mike will monitor how many copies are taken for a few months.

Plans for School Building - Still in negotiations; probably will not have any news until end of June.

Correction to May minutes: the time for this meeting was incorrect - should have said 6:30 PM Motion to approve minutes as corrected made by Mike Loftus; seconded by Tim Runyan. All in favor.

Motion to adjourn made by Mike Loftus; seconded by Sue Eliasz. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM.
