Sacristans are those people responsible for preparing the worship space for Mass and for cleaning up afterwards. Responsibilities include unlocking/locking the building, preparing the wine, bread and vessels at the beginning of Mass, recruiting Eucharistic Ministers to serve, washing the vessels at the end of Mass, and assisting with special needs for liturgies. Training is provided and a mentoring program exists. We especially welcome couples and families to participate in this ministry. Please contact Louise Carson at LCarson@dor.org.
