Reflection on Good Shepherd Sunday

AMEN! Ministry

Our mission is to thank God by using the vehicle of sports and fitness to unite the men of the Rush-Henrietta Catholic Community by promoting fun, community interaction, and teamwork. We will get together for some games of soccer, basketball, tennis, etc. or go to a local sporting event. Athletic ability is not required, just a desire to have some fun, exercise, and build community with other men in the RHCC. If you are interested in this type of men's ministry, please call Mark Trovato at 359-8063. See insert for more details.

Vacation Bible Camp 2010

This summer, we’re setting sail for VBS fun on the HIGH SEAS! Kids will feel the sea spray on their face as sails snap overhead. They’ll experience the deep rolling waters of God’s love. It’s easily the best time they will have all summer. Don’t miss the ship—register now to be a part of this High Seas Expedition VBS!

Random Acts of Kindness

Children's Faith Formation program has begun. If you have a child from 4 years old through 5th grade and you have not yet registered them, please fill out the form below and return it to the Christian Formation Office as soon as possible. Our Saturday kindergarten is now open to pre-school children who are at least 4 years old. We limit our class size so don't delay.

Our theme for this year is, "Random Acts of Kindness". We will all try to be thoughtful and kind in our encounters with everyone, everywhere, everyday. You can join us, even if you are only a child at heart.

RITES OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION

The first Sunday of Lent celebrated the Rite of Sending for our catechumens and candidates, to send them off to the cathedral for the Rite of Election and Recognition by the Bishop. These individuals are preparing for full initiation into the Catholic faith at our Rush Henrietta Catholic Community Easter Vigil. There are two catechumens (those to be baptized) and eight candidates (those already baptized) joining us from the Good Shepherd, Guardian Angels, and St. Joseph’s parishes.
